Jacob held Caroline’s hand tightly. They hid behind a thick metal pole. Tears were coming down Caroline’s cheeks, silver and shiny. Jacob wiped the tears off her face, and said softly, “don’t worry about it, they will be alright. Caroline laid her head on Jacob’s shoulder as they leaned back against the pole. Suddenly, The pole moved, and the siblings fell into darkness.
Caroline felt herself rise, as she clasped her arms around Jacob. She opened her eyes. The city below them was destroyed. Green rays of light came from the U.F.O’s Wandering above the city setting fire. “The U.F.O’s are taking over the world, and ruining the cities and family's!” Jacob said angrily. They were standing see through glass, and on their side there was nothing. Caroline had gone as pale as death. Height was something she really was scared of. She buried her face in Jacobs leather jacket. How she missed her Mum, dad, and even her strict teacher! How she missed her cat, everything.
She closed her eyes, but suddenly, she felt her body go rigid. Her face went as pale as death. She was having trouble breathing. She heard Jacob choking. “No! Jacob! Are you ok?” Caroline whispered with last breaths. And before he had realised, Caroline lost her balance. She fell to the side, and Jacob choked, “Caroline!”, before he jumped off with her.
